CosmeticsDouble Chin Liposuction

Double Chin Liposuction

Double chin liposuction works by inserting a small tube which is called a cannula into the fat tissue of double chin. The procedure is done entirely under local anaesthesia and the excess fat is removed to recontour the shape of the neck. It results in a smoother and even profile with a reduced amount of fat under the chin.

At beginning, the skin is cleaned thoroughly with an antiseptic solution that is designed to reduce the infection risk. The doctor will then administer the medications into the fat tissues to provide local anaesthesia. Then several small incisions in the skin are made, just large enough to introduce a small liposuction cannula. After that, a liposuction cannula is introduced into the fat tissues with back-and-forth movements to remove the excess fat. Finally, sterile dressing or bandaging is applied with a special compression garment to support the skin.

Jawline liposuction can also be done during double chin liposuction. It is a cosmetic procedure that involves removing excess fat from the area under the chin and along the jawline to create a more defined and sculpted jawline. This procedure is also commonly referred to as submental liposuction or chin liposuction. The procedure typically takes about one hour to complete and is performed under local anaesthesia.

Jawline liposuction is generally considered a safe and effective procedure, but as with any surgical procedure, there are risks and potential complications, such as infection, bleeding, and uneven contours. It is important to discuss the risks and benefits of the procedure before deciding to undergo the treatment.

Neck Fat Removal

Neck Fat removal helps in tightening the lower face and neck to remove excess skin and resulting in patients looking much younger than before. Neck liposuction aims to remove the excess superficial fat from the chin.

Some other treatments are effective in addressing the excess fat in the neck and submental region. Neck lift surgery, also known as a lower rhytidectomy, is a cosmetic surgical procedure that is designed to improve the appearance of the neck and jawline by tightening loose skin, reducing excess fat, and smoothing out wrinkles and creases.

During a neck lift, an incision is made behind the ears and/or under the chin, and the skin and underlying muscles are lifted and tightened. In some cases, liposuction may also be used to remove excess fat from the neck and jawline. The procedure typically takes 2-3 hours to complete and is performed under general anaesthesia or local anaesthesia with sedation.

Neck lift surgery can produce improvements in the appearance of the neck and jawline, resulting in a more youthful and sculpted look. However, like any surgical procedure, it does carry risks, such as infection, bleeding, scarring, and nerve damage. The neck lift surgery is indicated for those who have severe skin sagging with minimal elasticity. It is performed by qualified and experienced surgeons, in hospital settings, and under general anaesthesia and requires around 2 weeks of recovery.
